Cyanotype made from an old photograph - Black tea toning
Description
The cyanotype is one of the oldest monochrome photographic processes that allows for the printing of the imprint left by an object, a plant, or a photographic negative onto a surface. It relies on the photosensitivity of a mixture of iron salts that acquires a Prussian blue color when exposed to UV light.
Tea toning allows, thanks to the tannins, a transition from blue to sepia.
